When we go to disney in just over a year son will be 3 and a half. Hes a very fussy eater who not only eats a small variety of foods but eats very little. As it says kids 0-3 eat free is the day they turn 3 the cut off for them eating for free or as long as you're aged 3 you can eat free?

:S!

It's under 3 eat free, so as soon as he's 3 you would need to pay, just as we will next time we go, but that doesn't mean you need to order him a meal, we will just ask for an extra plate and give him from ours as we have a very fussy almost 3 year old too.

If you are at a buffet you will have to pay for your 3 year old. I know it's frustrating - we paid for a few and I think at one he ate only a muffin and my DD5 only had a few pieces a fruit - that was an expensive breakfast for what little they ate!

At meals without a buffet I was able to order one kids meal and split it between my DS3 and DD5.

So say of I go into a buffet he can eat off of my plate? Or does it inly work at places like annettes diner?

at all the buffet meal restaurants, you pay by the age of your child, so if they are 3 or over, you pay for them, regardless of how much they eat.

at table service (like Annettes, Cafe Mickey etc) you don't have to order your child a meal, they can share with you.

No you would need to pay for him at a buffet. Would only work at table or counter service. That's why when we go next we'll be giving the buffets a miss.

It's the same at virtually all buffets, as you would just load your plate up with enough good to feed the extra person

Any buffet including non-Disney will not let your kid graze off your plate for free, how would they decide who to charge and who not to? If he does not eat anything you could see if they won't charge him but that means he does not eat anything. And for character meals you are really paying for the experience, not the food.
