Do I have to go to the counter with Alamo?

I just booked a reservation using my Alamo Insider, costco and visa code. We used Alamo last year and went to the kiosk and then out to the car. For this reservation, they are telling me to proceed to the counter, even though I supplied them with the additional driver info....

I think it means that you can use the kiosk also just that you can't go right to the garage.

We used a AA code and Visa coupon last week and I wasn't able to complete the online check-in, I had to go to the counter.

You can still use the kiosk (located in front of the counter). I have never seen anyone else using them when I'm there. Very simple to use and takes very little time, then you can proceed directly to your car.

You can use the kiosk. They will want to see your license and your additional driver's license at the exit booth. They will need to see both drivers when you exit. IE: you cannot simply produce the license for the second driver, he/she has to be physically present.
