Do I have to cancel ME?

I've decided to drive instead of taking ME. Do I have to cancel? I haven't even gotten my luggage tags yet.

I agree, while there is no penalty for not using ME it is the considerate thing to do.

Would they be waiting for you otherwise? Is that why?

No, they wouldn't be waiting for you, but they do base the number of buses going to particular resorts based on the people who have reserved a ride at a particular time. So...while not 'mandatory' to cancel your reservations, it is nice to let them know. Heck, I had DME reserved but found that my ds was going to pick me up. I called them and told them I didn't need the ride to WDW but still needed the ride back to the airport...they really seem to appreciate the call.

I don't think it's nessassary unless you have a big party. I booked my room and tickets through AAA, and did my own airfare. I never once said I wanted ME, because I know we won't use it because we are flying into Sanford, but yet when our vouchers came, we got ones for ME as well as teh ME luggage tags. I'm not calling, as I never even asked for it. There is only me, my DH and my 2YO. They have no flight info on me, nor was I ever asked for any. I am kind of surprised that I got the ME stuff. I have heard that they just keep sendng buses and there is not one in particualr that is meant for just you. You just catch the on that is there at the time you walk out.

By canceling ME, you allow Disney to better schedule its resources. This allows them to control costs and, hopefully keep providing this "free" service longer.
