Hello there,so it's getting down to the wire and I'm curious if I should do more p/s? I have so far Electrical parade wine and cheese(sun) cafe orleans lunch(mon) blue bayou lunch (tues) napa rose dinner(thurs) and finally fantasmic riverside(fri). I didn't want to have to plan all our meals but not sure if I should put a few more things in there? What do ya think? We really want to go to Granvilles and Hook's Pointe and we are staying at the dlr so should I just wing it once we are there or decide on dinner times? I'm worried that with Nemo there might be times we can't leave the park or won't be able to get back in so that's why I left it more loose.  :woohoo: :yay:
23 days!!!!!

I'm sure you'll be fine. For my family, that would be too many PS. For our last trip, 5 days in the parks, we only had ONE. It was for Ariels. Most days we ate 2 meals in the parks. We hate to be tied down to time, and would rather just eat counter service then have to worry about being somewhere.

We're the same way. We always make a Blue Bayou ps and we did an EP PS, but went with the flow otherwise. When we're hungry we'll eat whatever is convenient or sounds good. But, we go in off seasons so peak times come with different rules.;)

I have in all my years made one PS, and that was to eat at BB. So I think 1 a day is plenty !

It sounds fabulous! As a geeral rule, I make one per day that way you get one sit down decent meal guaranteed without a huge wait!! It's perfect really! And if you don't happen to want to go after all, you don't! I make it to about 4 out of 5 of the ones I make, but I do have Disney Dining in my cell so I call if I know I won't be there so they dont' make someone else wait!

While I usually agree with this, counter lines can be long and a BIG time waster in the summer months! I just made PS's for June (I will be there the same time as OP) and it was scarce so there are gonna be HUGE crowds, especially for NEMO opening!

If you really want to eat at Steakhouse 55 (formerly Granville's) I would recommend making PS - when I was there about 5:00 recently they were telling people the earliest available seating they had was 9:30! Now, that WAS a Saturday night, so maybe other nights aren't as busy, but if it's important to you I would make the PS. (They were sending people to Hook's Pointe, and at that time Hook's Pointe still had PS available for 8:00 that evening.)

thanks everyone!:thumbsup2 thanks scooter I will get on my granvilles p/s for sat night!

I booked this thru vacation planning as well,it's for the sunday night June 10th. It's in dca for the electrical parade and it's a sitdown area with a wine and cheese so you don't have to wait for the parade with the crowds. I've been told tho it's pretty easy to get good seats for the parade. But we are all about splurging on this trip:thumbsup2 It was about 55.00 per person for a plate of cheeses and meat and a glass of wine, you can also order more wine too:yay:

Do they have any offering for the kids? We are doing the Fantasmic dessert reception I am looking forward to that, this will probably be our only trip to DL so a little splurge is going on with us too.
