Do former Cast Members also receive discounts?

I just learned from my step-son that he and his long time girlfriend will be going to WDW with a number of discounts as a result of her being a "friend" of a princess at WDW. Whe is no longer employed in that capacity. Would this be a trip booked prior to her leaving the WDC or do CMs retain certain benefits?

BTW, I do not know which princess but she looks an awful lot like Rapunzel.

You lose your discount after your employment ends that I know of(as a former CM), unless you retire with them. Then I know you keep your free admission so possibly a discount too. But I'm doubting this is the case.

You lose everything including any main gates. The only thing you get to keep are unused white comp tickets but you have to print them off before you lose hub access.

No matter what you do if you prebook your package under cast discounts it will change to rack rate.

The only thing you can kids save on and is pretty common with people who know they are leaving the company is buying an annual pass with you cast discount before you leave. However, that had to be done before they no longer have access to D Store.

CM's can also buy MYW tickets for a small discount. So, the "friend" may have purchased them before leaving her role. My DD was a CM last year and that is the only thing she bought that she brought home with her to use on another trip. Any other discounts that she got on resort rooms or meals ended on her last day of work.

It is also possible she is still in touch with current CMs and one has reserved the hotel room for them which would be another discount.
