Do FastPasses expire?

This may sound like a silly question, but is there anything preventing you from using a FastPass obtained on a previous day at DL or DCA?

ie. Is it inserted into a machine that scans the date and rejects it if invalid, or does the CM check the date before letting you through?

The CM's do check the dates sometimes. You can however use your FP throughout the given day. When you get the FP you can't use it till after the first time printed but you can use it all day after that. So if you miss your hour time slot not to worry, you can use it later in the day.

You can only use a FP at DLR on the day it is issued. The CMs are supposed to check two things:

o The date of issue
o The window opening (they allow you do use it any time that day, even after the window closes)

You aren't supposed to use them the next day unless it's been okayed by an attraction lead. Once we had FPs for Buzz, but it was broken down and they weren't sure if it would be fixed before park closing. They said that maybe if we asked a lead they could make sure our FPs would be good for the next day. We walked all of ten feet before finding one and she wrote on our FPs that they were good on the next day. But you can use them anytime the day you get them after the FP window has opened. But generally, to use them the next day, the ride has to be broken down and not expected to reopen before park closing. And the lead has to write on them that they're good the next day's date.
