Do DVC members get discounts on hotels?

I have been reading the boards but have not seen anything about this. I know that we get other perks and discounts on things like dining, annual passes, and etc. But do we get room discounts on places like Poly or CR? I am looking to make a reservation for later in the year and have already booked most of my points. Thanks for any help!

No, room discounts for members are only available at the DVC resorts.

We're doing a split stay (AKV and Poly) this month and I was able to get the AP discount at the Poly for the wknd. days.

I would assume that's based on availability for your dates and resort. I have a AP reservation for a weekend in Aug.

OP: Don't forget AAA. Sometimes the AAA discount is better than the AP discount.
