If so how much?? How much does this tour cost?? My dd 19 and I would love to do this sometime. I am sure it is too late to sign up since our trip is 9 days away...but maybe next year. Thanks

From DVCMember.com

"Receive a 15% discount on this four-and-a-half-hour walking tour that is a fascinating journey "backstage" and around the Theme Park. Discover the history of the Magic Kingdom Park and enjoy the unique opportunity to step down into the "Utilidor" that runs underneath it. Theme Park admission is not included, but is required. For ages 16 and older. This program is subject to change without notice and is based on availability."

The tour is $70 before the discount.

Give them a call. There may be availability. It's a nice tour. We enjoyed it a lot.

I recently booked this tour for dh and me for our October trip. I don't have the figures in front of me - need to see where I wrote it down - don't forget lunch is included with the price.

Call - I think you will get in for a tour.

If you have a Disney VISA, you can get 20% off. But you have to pay with the VISA.

We signed up for the tour less than a week before we left for our trip.

Oh okay thanks. Do you remember about how much that runs????

Okay, looked and found it. With the discount for the two of us $126.74.

(Again I figure lunch at about $15.00 each at Columbia House - so tour averages at $50). Looking forward to it.

Since you are both adults, I think rather than the Keys to the Kingdom tour, I'd do the Backstage Magic tour. It lasts pretty much all day. We've done that one 3 times, and it has been different everytime. WELL worth the money.

We did tours on this last trip. We did the Backstage Safari which was wondeful. And we did Keys to the Kingdom. We had signed up for the Backstage Magic tour, but decided to do Keys instead. One, to save a little money, and, two, we had a dining reservation that I had made earlier for Jiko that same night and didn't want to rush.

We really enjoyed the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Lunch was good, utilidors were nothing more than walking through the subbasement or basement at our hospital. We did get to see two headless characters - Jessie and Woody.

We'll probably do another tour sometime in the future. Up to this time, we ha only done the Family Magic tour many years ago when our son was about six. He was finally 16 on this trip, so we could do the others. He's interested in animals (hopes to be a vet and to do the Disney College Progam working for Sue at the AK).

You have to have park admission for both Keys and Backstage Safari, but not for Backstage Magic.

Don't forget the bottle of water and the pin that has been given out in the past.

We are going for the first time on our December trip. Looking forward to it too.
