Do children have access to the dining plan credits on their MB?

I posted this on the dining board but it's really a more appropriate question for this board. So I'm reposting it here. Hopefully one of you can help me.

On our upcoming trip we'll be going with a couple other families. I suspect that we'll split up on one of the days with most people going to HS and some of us going to Epcot. We will all be on the dining plan. If one of their children wants to come with us to Epcot instead of going with their family to HS can they use their dining plan credits? I know the children don't have charging privileges but do they have access to the dining plan credits? Or would one of the parents need to come with us?

Yes. Everyone has access to ALL the credits, regardless of their age.

You would need to bring either a key card or magic band from their room to pay for their child's meal with their credits, and make sure you tell the server that you will be using two different accounts.
