Do characters come out at the CBR??

We are going to WDW in May and I've only stayed at the value resorts. So this is my first time staying at a moderate. I did notice that when we were at the Pop Century Mickey, Goofy, and other's would come to the main check-in bldg. every night. Do they do that at all the resorts?? I just was wondering..

I've never seen them at CBR. Their main check in building is not attached to the food court either.

I do remember a time when they discontinued Early morning entrance to a park that they were having character appearances at the resorts.

I could be wrong but I don't think the characters make appearances at the resorts in general.

Were you there during a hurricane? That's the only time I've read of characters coming to the resorts that don't offer character meals. We had them at ASMo last fall, but it was during Hurricane Jeanne.

actually yes we were there during hurricane Frances, late september of last year. I guess thats why, then!!
