Do basic hotel prices change?

The current offer for May is 2 nights free - we're looking at 4 nights which makes the 2 free nights offer the same as 50% off, unless my maths is much worse than I thought :rotfl: As you'd never get a 50% discount offer (except in a flash sale) it seems to me that this current offer is as good as it will get for us. Firstly, would you agree with all that?

Secondly, obviously different offers come and go but do the basic 'per nights' rates ever change? I'm wondering whether the same dates could become cheaper on the same offer later on. Hope that makes sense! (I know that the rates change according to the season but I mean would the advertised price for, say, 1st May ever change or will it stay as originally advertised?)

You'd think two nights and days free when booking a 4 night stay would equate 50% off but we found it didn't. We booked under two days and nights free, then when a 40% offer came about that was cheaper than our booking by about £50 :confused3

2 nights free works out at around 38% off (as its based on nights and days ie 4nights/5 days for the price of 2nights/3 days).

Ah, I suppose your last day is a day without a hotel night but still need park tickets, so that must alter it. Maybe I'll wait a little then and see if a 40% comes up... thanks!

I've found this chart very useful when it came to working out prices - it has the base rates as they stand at the moment and has come in very handy when working out the maths. By my calculations a 4 night/5 day trip for the price of a 2 night/3 day one is about 40% off the base price.
