The reason I'm asking is because I want to get the Disney Dining Experience card, but I do not need an annual pass right now. So I want to know if I bought an annual pass voucher could I just use the voucher to buy the DDE card and then activate the AP voucher in a couple of years from now when I need it?

As of right now, they do not carry an expiration date. Everything is always subject to change with Disney, however. ;)

Although I have heard scattered reports, don't expect to get a DDE card without an activated pass. They ask for the actual, activated pass number. As I said, I have heard of a few people getting away with it, but it's definately not supposed to be that way.

Good luck!

On the back of the AP voucher above the strip there is a row of numbers.. Once you receive your AP voucher, call DDE, they will ask for that row of numbers and it's done. Don't wait. Order your AP and when you get the voucher, call DDE..

Good Luck!

I hope that you are aware that, unlike an AP voucher, the DDE card is active as soon as it is issued.
