Do any Value resorts offer two queen beds?

I tried googling this, but older articles with older information popped up. Then I tried reading and pulling up old threads on here, but with hundreds of pages it can be time consuming and difficult to follow.

I have heard that some of the Value resorts were being renovated and that rooms with 2 double beds were being replaced with two queen beds instead. Has this actually happened and at which resorts? The double beds were the only thing stopping us from booking value in the past. Thanks!

All of the Value rooms are cying through a masdive refurbishment. They started with Pop, then Movies, Music, and I think Sports is supposed to be last. Any rooms that have already been refurbished will have 2 queen beds, one of which lifts out of the way. However, those Murphy beds are still real queens with exactly the same (awesome) mattress on both beds. We LOVED our recent stays at Pop!

POP and All Star Movies now have 2 queen beds.
All Star movies is the resort I am interested in, my kids would love a toy story room, but the official Disney website still lists the beds as double. This was adding to my confusion as well.

Pop's 2nd queen is a Murphy bed. Rooms are great for 2, ok for 3, and tight for 4.

The renovation isn't done there yet.

Not all the rooms are refurbished. Only the refurbished rooms have queen beds.

They will not change the website until all the rooms are complete and you are guaranteed a queen bed.

Look at this thread for updates, I think they started in Toy Story (which should be preferred) and you can see if the other preferred are done.

While they technically are a murphy bed that lifts, they are the same exact mattress as the other and they are both supported as platform beds (no box spring). There is no difference in how they sleep.

I agree that some folks might find the rooms tight, the bigger furniture has created more the cruise line feel to them ... but some might have no issue at all. We have had 4 adults and done just fine. My biggest issue was the minimal space between the beds. But we are park people and the room is for sleeping or showering ... we don't need more floor space. It's really a per family if good or bad.

I will disagree and say you can tell the differences between the beds. For pull down beds they're pretty good but the standard bed still felt better.

And like you said with both beds down it gets real tight and takes away the table and puts the chairs in the corner.

The mattresses are exactly the same on both pop beds. We could tell no difference in them (they are both platform beds). That being said if you happen to have a room where significantly more people have slept on one than the other they might seem different
