Do any of the teenagers get autographs?

I'm curious if the kids ages 12 and up get autographs. (Please, I know there are adults that do, I'm not referring to that.) Just, when they hit that "cool" stage, will they still stand in line for autographs? What else did you find interesting/fun, or even disappointing for that age group?

I was 16 or 17 when Lilo and Stitch came out. You better believe i got their autographs! Its kind of funny, when you hit that "cool age" as you put it, and you are at Disney World, it doesnt matter. Standing in line wating for Mickey IS the cool thing.

hi everyone. I have been of the board for awhile but am back and planning another trip. my teenage dd will stand in line for autographs. she is tring to complete an autograph book that she started when she was younger. ds thinks this is stupid, so i guess it depends on the teen.

I have 12yo and 16yo daughters. The 12yo will still get autographs and the occasionally the 16yo will too. The 16yo still loves character meals and likes to have her picture taken with the characters, but maybe doesn't get the autographs as much anymore. She'll stand in line just to have her picture taken.

The teenagers seem to love Innoventions (Epcot) There is an area with computer games etc. but what they went back to do numerous times was the dancing game. You watch a screen and follow the arrows in time to music. They LOVED that.

They also will hang around Epcot to watch Illiuminations *every* night, ride Rock -n- Rollercoaster over and over, and go to Who wants to be a Millionaire several times. I let the 16yo and a friend go to the parks by themselves and they really like the freedom. We usually stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and have cell phones so we can keep in touch.

I went in March w/5 kids ages 5, 8, 9, 10, & 14. The 14 year old was so into the characters! She was really annoying everyone else 'cause we had to keep stopping to wait for her! The others did it too...a little bit. I think at this age, and especially for a girl, it was the "cute" thing to do.

As the years have gone by, twin DD's (now 14), have waited in line for and received fewer and fewer autographs. They just don't seem to be that interested. That being said, they still LOVE to have their pictures taken with any and all characters and will wait for as long as it takes.

I'm only 20 now, and I went to WDW twice in my teens and I have to say that a lot of teenagers (girls at least, I don't know about boys) really like getting the pictures taken with characters. However, not autographs. It's a lot of fun to meet them and get a picture, but the autograph books seem pretty "dorky" to most. Just my thoughts.

I am almost 16, and I still enjoy meeting the characters and getting their autographs. I guess it depends on the person.

I have two teens, a 16 yo dd and a 13 yo ds. We just came back with over 50 character photos and autographs! The difference between the two is that ds will stand in line for any of them; if its a character, he's there. DD will only line up for those she really likes, mostly villians and princesses. Like others stated, it all depends on the kid.

Yeah, I'm 14 and I really don't get any autographs.

But, I guess it depends on the kid.
