Do any Hollywood tours pick you up at your hotel?

Staying at the Peacock Inn and Suites in our timeshare. We won't have a car but would like to do a Hollywood tour. Do any of the tours pick you up or do you need to go to predetermined location?

The Starline tours say something about picking up but it might be from LA hotels not Orange. It might have a bus from Disneyland to the main bus hub. But my cousin meet us when we did our tour and she took the Metro and the subway to get to Hollywood. It is fairly easy. There is a train about every hour and the subway line follows Hollywood Boulevard and has stations at the popular corners where these tours usually start from. The Starline starts from Hollywood and Vine in front of the Dolby (Kodak) Theater.

I recall several years ago that my mom took some cousins on a Hollywood tour. I believe it was with Grayline. They picked them up at our hotel, took them to an office to check-in, then they were directed to the bus for their tour. Also several years ago, my sister and I did a tour from the Disneyland area to Universal. We were picked up in a small bus at our hotel, then taken to a central location where we checked in and got on a bigger bus. There were several tours leaving from the office going to different places. I don't recall the company we used, but it worked out well. They dropped us at our hotel after the tour. Maybe do a search on Hollywood tours and see what you can find.

We were in Disney this past May and booked thru Starline tours. They picked us up outside our hotel. After stopping to pick up others at other nearby hotels they stopped at their offices in Anaheim where you pay for your tour and then board the correct bus for whichever tour you have booked. Almost all the people on our bus were taking the same tour as us and we didn't need to change to a different bus as the same bus that picked us up happened to be the one being used for the tour we booked. You just need to call ahead of time and book with them so they know when and where to pick you up. At the end of the tour we returned to Anaheim and they dropped us back off at our hotel.

I'm using the anaheim tour company and they are picking us up from the hotel and starting the tour-no change of buses. And only 12 people per tour

We used Anaheim Tour Company for our Hollywood tour last week. They picked us up at the bus stop in front of our hotel - Best Western Park Place. No changing of buses and there were approx 20 people on our tour. We have also taken tours with Gray line prior and they have taken us to the central office where we got off the bus to pay for our tour and then boarded the correct bus for the tour we booked.

Which tour did you do? We picked the WB/HW tour for Labor Day and can't wait!

Thanks for asking this. We are staying at the Peacock Suites as well in April and I was wondering the same thing :)

We did the Grand Tour of Hollywood and LA. It was okay - it was just DD and myself and we didn't want to drive so we just took the tour. We have visited the sites before but DD was too young to remember.

Would be interested in hearing reviews of different companies and tours. Would like to see Hollywood and possibly a back stage tour or Warner Brothers.
