I would buy mine matching pj bottoms, but I wouldn't expect them to wear them at the same time Maybe I should clarify...if there were pj bottoms, say Crazy Birds, that I know they'd both love, i'd buy them each a pair. I wouldn't go out specifically trying to find them matching ones.
My sons are adults, too. Their aunt bought them Sponge Bob pajama pants one year. I got all the guys Ravens purple shirts one year, but I would never give them matching pajama pants. Even though they would never do laundry together, the boys wear the same size bottoms and it might lead to confusion. They tend to buy these things for themselves anyway. I haven't bought them pajamas in at least five years.
I totally get my kids matching clothes. My 2 year old was super excited to open all of his sets of cute t-shirts with matching shirt for little brother... not sure how that would go over in 20 years.
If I got PJ pants that matched my siblings I think we would appreciate it, but we don't live together so it's not like anybody would ever know.
