Do all members of a pkg reservation have to have same ticket options?

I can't seem to find this answer despite my searching.
If you've booked a package (room, tix, dining) do all the people in one room have to have the sand ticket options? Traveling with extended family & possibly only a portion are interested in hopper option. Since dining requires an "all or nothing" approach, I wasn't sure how tickets work.

We are traveling in October when park hours are not as long. Do you think hoppers are more "worth it", or less so when hours are short? Less time to take advantage of a hop, but if park hours are precious, taking advantage of every minute may be more critical?

Yes it is the same all or nothing with the tickets. Bit you just buy to the lowest choice of the party and upgrade the other tix when you arrive.

Yes! My TA has confirmed this for me when I asked why my sisters 6 days park hopper wasn't showing up on MDE but the rest of ours were. She said everyone on the package must have the same tickets anyway.

The debate about whether PHs are worth it has various answers bc guests have different reasons to need a PH. PH is good if you want to spend time at Epcot & DHS on the same day. Or go to AK, which closes relatively early, then another park in the evening. Perhaps your dinner ADR requires entry into a second park. The answer lies in your dinner plans and park visit plans. If it turns out you only need PH for one item, like a dinner, or Epcot/DHS one day, it's a big question if $60 is worth it just for that, as opposed to rearranging plans a bit. On the other hand, if you need PH for a single thing and decide to go for it, I would change my overall plans to include more PH opportunities, to really use the PH for all it's worth.

To answer the question about tickets for everyone in a room, they all have to be the same until check-in. After that, they can be upgraded individually. For your reservation, you would book the minimum ticket that someone in your room needs. It doesn't cost any more to upgrade the other tickets once you arrive, as compared to buying more days when you make your reservation.

It's worth noting that if a guest already has the "Water Parks and More Fun" option on her/his ticket, adding the "Park Hopper" for the entire trip only costs a one-time fee of $26.
