Do Ale & Compass and Riptide Lounges still serve alcohol?

When I first stayed at the Yacht Club in 1993, the Ale & Compass was a great place to get a late-night cocktail when you got back from the parks. I was surprised to find that on my 2003 stay it and the BC's Riptide Lounge were only open for continental breakfast in the morning.

Is this still true and why?

Don't know the answer to your question, but YC also has the Crew's Cup (down near the Yachtsman Steakhouse) which is a great place to get an adult beverage.

Is the Ale & Compass the one that's all the way down the left hand side of the YC lobby? Had a bar and some comfy chairs? If so, it was open for both continental breakfast and evening cocktails when we were there in December.
