Purchased some DVD and I would like to gain access to the digital copies.
When it asked me which device I want to use, I got very confused.
I would like to have the movies on my ipad, but if I choose that, does it mean that I won't be able to use any other device like my samusung phone?
Also, do I need to be connected to the internet to watch the movie, or can it be watched anywhere, like while we are driving?

Not judging you for asking the question, but you may want to consider whether you really want to be asking for ways to circumvent the law on a public forum like this.

The Copyright Modernization Act
http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/annualstatutes/2012_20/FullText.html
that came into effect in 2012 prohibits the breaking of digital locks (see s. 41).

Whether individuals should have the legal right to make a personal copy of a dvd that they have legally purchased is a whole other debate...

Are you taking about the movies that come with the digital copy?
I believe you just enter the code and pick where you want it to down load (iTunes, etc)
When you enter the code the option should just pop up

I think the OP is asking about the digital copies that come with the Disney Blu-rays or DVDs and not making a personal copy.

I tried to install it through iTunes but something happened and the download didn't complete. Now when I try enter my code again it won't let me :(

the digital copies can only be downloaded to one format --- so either itunes or google play.

one you download it though -- you should be able to re-download through the tool --either Apple or google play -- by logging into your account ---

you do need to be on the internet at least when the movie starts to authenticate the drm.

Ok, so I download to iTunes. Then I can watch on my ipad?
But I won't be able to access from my samsung phone
Right?
