You don't need the entire book to check in at the DME desk right? If we have those little tickets that were in the book we'll be fine right?

i believe what the check-in desk actually scans in is a barcode on the back. they scan the barcodes on the inside page at the bus.

technically, you don't need the booklet at all, they can just print you roundtrip vouchers on the spot.

i dunno about just taking particular pages. the booklet itself just didn't seem like it was that much of a deal to carry.

It isn't really much to carry but my father will be joining us a week after we get there and will go to the airport right from work with no bags ( we'll have his stuff already ) I'm afraid he'd lose everything if it doesn't fit into his pant pockets!

I had one trip where I arrived on a Monday morning, and my dh and dd arrived Tuesday, late evening. We used DME and dh and dd had no problems at all using just the little voucher slip of paper. In fact, there was the time I checked my DME packet in my luggage!! Duh. But, it still wasn't an issue when I got to DME checkin. They just made me up a new voucher for the bus.

yeah, as i mentioned, it's probably best in your father's case just to go without anything. they'll print a roundtrip voucher at the welcome center which is technically only needed to board the bus to go to the resort. as long as DME knows about your return, the worst possible case is you get bell services to write you a voucher to board the returning bus.
