In September my husband and I will be taking the DME to Pop Century. This will be our first time at this resort. How long does it take approximately to get to Pop from MCO? I asked the CM when I called for something else. He did say we should plan for abut an hour, but he was at Pop in less than an hour just a few days ago. (We will be flying into MCO at about 9:15 AM in September on a Saturday, if that sort of stuff factors in at all.) I'm wondering also because I wanted to book a lunch at Le Cellier for about 11:45, but didn't want to miss it by being late.

I think a 11:45 lunch will be cutting it too close, and I am usually overly optimistic about that type of stuff. I would figure at a minimum 45 minutes for gate to door and that is if everything goes perfectly and you are the first stop. Then factor in checking in, storing your carryons at the resort, waiting for a bus, getting to Epcot, walking to the front (it is pretty far at Epcot to the bag check) getting through bag check, and then walking all the way through future world to Le Cellier. I think you would be safer with a later lunch (after 1:00).

If you arrive ontime, at 9:15, you 'should' be at POP by 10:30. The average is about 70 mins but I have had it take close to 90 mins. Let's say you get to POP by 10:30..you'll get checked in, and maybe be able to get into your room. In any case, let's say you are ready to get on a bus to Epcot by 11:15, at the latest. You should be at Epcot by 11:30, and it will take you at least 20-25 mins to get through bag check, turnstiles and then walk to LeCellier...making you about 10 mins late for your ADR. Probably not a huge issue.
I would drop any carryon bags either with Luggage Assistence or in the room, and then rush back to the bus stop. Try to be on an Epcot bus no later than 11. That should give you the time you'll need to get to lunch.

Thanks everyone. Maybe I'll try to push lunch back a little. We will only have carry ons for this trip, and we won't be taking them to the park if we can help it.
