We got our tags about 2-3 weeks in advance and put them on our luggage. We flew into MCO on 6/22 and landed just before 11AM. We went on the tram, and there were 3-4 CMs holding Mickey hands and signs. They directed us to the welcome center, where we checked in with no line and got in line for ASMu. The lines seemed slightly odd (for example, ASSp and ASMu were in the same line, but ASMo was in a seperate one). After about 10 minutes, we boarded the bus, sat on the bus for 10 minutes, and we were off. Mears was doing a lot here, scanning vouchers, directing guests, etc. We went to all the All-Star Resorts and Music was the second stop. We were at the resort by 12:30, but there was a fairly long line to check in and not enough CMs. The luggage was in our room by the time we got back from MGM around 10PM.
We were scheduled to be at Pop for the last night, but we got transferred to the Yacht Club (different thread)
. I had to call around midnight to make a new DME reservation, and it worked out fine. We were flying on American, so we checked the bags at the resort. The bus pulled up about 10 minutes early (scheduled for 4:35) so we got on and waited until then.

The driver was absolutely crazy. He made such comments as:
Ah, Disney never gives me the right number of people, they're always wrong.
(Over PA)- Who wants to go back to Disney? Ah, you can't, they've probably taken all your money already.
(Over the radio with another driver)-
Driver- "I'm getting to Music, there are about 50 people here"
Dispatch- "I count four supposed to be there"
Driver- "OK, what should I do?"
Dispatch- "Load as many as you can and let Disney deal with the rest".
-end quotes-
*Disney- STOP USING MEARS!!!*
I'm sending an email to Guest Communications about him. Totally unacceptable.

We stopped at Beach Club, Boardwalk, and Carribean Beach, and got to the airport at about 5:45. We watched Brother Bear on the return trip (Isn't there supposed to be a goodbye movie?). The bus went to B terminal first, then A side. For whatever reason, the driver wouldn't let anyone off the bus until he unloaded all the luggage from the bus in each terminal. Got to the airport with plenty of time.
All in all, DME was a very good experience. The luggage arrived everywhere it was supposed to be, and the DME CMs were all very courteous.
Questions?
