I've booked a room only reservation, with DME added on. Will Disney send us special luggage tags so that DME knows which bags they need to transport, or will they have to check every bag looking for names?

As long as you have added DME to your reservation (regardless of being a room-only or a package), they'll send you the yellow tags for your luggage. Mine arrived about a month before my arrival date.

There is no such thing as a 'plastic re-usable DME tag'. What is a re-usable, plastic tag is the tag that you will be given as part of a package. If you book room only, no plastic tags.

DME usually gets our info packets, with vouchers and luggage tags (one pp), to us about 3-4 weeks prior to travel departure. If you get to the 3 week period, and you have seen nothing from DME, give them a call, directly, to make sure you are in their system.
