DME Question with Carry-On Luggage

I /think/ I already know the answer to this, but I just want to check.

To save money from airline fees, we'll probably be using carry-on luggage only for our flight instead of any checked bags. However, we'll be getting there over 5 hours before we can get into our room (3pm check-in time).

Is it possible to have luggage delivery with carry-on luggage once you get to the bus? Or are you stuck with it? It would be great to have luggage delivery paired with online check-in so we can just hop off DME and hop on a parks bus.

It sounds like this isn't possible, in which case I assume I can leave luggage with a bell-hop at the resort? Does this take a long time? Will they deliver the luggage once the room is ready?

You take your carry ons to the bus. The bus driver will put it under the bus and will retrieve it at your hotel. You will then take it and then can have the bell services hold it until your room is ready (I would wait and check in to see if your room is ready. I've had good luck with getting rooms early.) How long it takes with bell services depends on how busy they are. For us its been under 10 minutes every time. I do not believe they will deliver it to your room for you. We have always just picked it up on our way to the room. But you can ask.

Since the checked bags have the yellow tags and are pulled before they even get to the luggage pick up area there is no place for you to insert your bags into the process after you take them onto your plane.

You can check in as early as 6:00 am. If your room isn't ready, bell services will hold your bags for you.

You will have to stop and drop off any carry on bags with Bell Services. They won't place it in your room for you though.

You can't tag your carry-on bags once you arrive at MCO! You have to keep them with you. They will be stowed beneath the bus (you can carry smaller bags on the bus with you but carry-on bags that are larger have to be stowed) and handed to you when you get to your resort. The driver will expect a gratuity for baggage handling. When you get to your resort, if your room isn't ready yet, you can give your bags to Bell Services. They will hold the bags until the room is ready and you are in it, ready to accept the baggage delivery. Again, a gratuity will be expected.
