DME plus a Car Rental...

We like to rent a car at MCO....Just for convenience. If I were to book DME for our luggage and not really take it ourselves, do you think that would be an issue or a waste?.....realistically, the luggage goes on a separate truck....am I taking up a spot that could be used for someone else?....or is it no big deal?

My only thought is that then we don't have to wait around for luggage claim and try to squeeze everything into a car!
