DME Luggage Tag Arival

Hey all

When are you supposed to receive your DME luggage tags and confirmation? We are about a month out and have nothing yet.
Also our flight has changed a few times but not the flight number so it has been my understanding that Disney will be aware of our arrival and departure times as long as the flight number does not change, is that right?

I would give DME a call and see if they mailed your information out yet. As for the flights, the incomming flight doesn't matter as much as the outgoing flight but they monitor the flight numbers.

We received our tickets about 30 days before we arrived; I would give them a call.

Our flight also slid from 6:00 pm to 6:37 pm; I didn't call them, because it just meant we would be picked up at 3:30 pm to depart as opposed to 3:00 pm. Sure enough, they had the flight number and picked up the new departure time and we were picked up at 3:30 pm.
 
Pretty sure that Magical Express no longer mails DME packets outside the United States.
 

I believe Canada is still getting those packets.
Usually, the packets arrive 4-5 weeks before travel. I would call DME just to be on the safe side to be sure you have a reservation. Then, they can resend the packet.
You really don't need the tags or vouchers when you arrive. If you don't get the packet, just head to the DME checkin area, give them your name and they should be able to bring you up in their system and print out some new vouchers for your bus ride. Give them your baggage claim receipts and they will send someone to get your bags for resort delivery.

Canada is still getting the packages. I guess WDW doesn't think that the postage cost is that much more than within the US.

We never got ours either. I verified that they had our correct info in the system and then upon arrival just did above. I wouldn't stress to much about not having the packet!
 
Thanks for the advice everyone. We called and it looks like our arrival package got messed up somehow and they are now going to send it out UPS. Thanks for the heads up and helping us get on track. :thumbsup2
