Our Debate ....

Use a town car service and do a food store stop (cost $100 plus) ?

Or :confused3

Take DME and send a food package down to WL for us (send package 6 days in advance - 3 days of US mail and 2 days for WDW mail to resorts) ?

If I send the food package-we would only be missing water bottles.
But I do not think we will spend $100 in one week in water bottles...
$10 per day @ $2.50 per bottle ($70 for 7 days).

Does DME ever lose your bags ?

We decided to try DME for this trip. It will be nice not to have to handle our luggage on our arrival or departure...especially with our impatient DS(4) and DD(7). I am packing a carryon with our swimsuits, pj's and a change of clothes just in case. I found a great website from this board for groceries. It is gardengrocer.com. For a $10 fee they will deliver right to our resort, even on Memorial Day!

I'll post after our return and let you know how it went.

I have used DME twice and would use it again. Both times I had wegoshop deliver groceries to the resort and would use them again as well.

As for water, I only buy bottled water for the room and we puchase it at the parks. IMHO its worth the $$ to have cold water when we need it and we don't like to carry much.

Take DME, relax and let them ship your bags. Use a grocery delivery service or ship it yourself. The advantage of the grocery delivery is they can get you lunchmeat, fruits and vegies if you wish. They will shop where you wish or at the store that best meets the needs of your list. They also used coupons and a frequent shopper card with my order and I definatly saved $$. IMHO it was well worth the delivery fee and the tip.

We have always used a towncar in the past but after two good experiences we will use DME again.
