DME / Late flight arrival

Ok so we've used the DME a number of times and this year unlike our typical 10am MCO arrival we are not getting to Florida until 9pm. When we got early I didn't worry about your luggage as we didn't need anything until later in the day.

Landing at 9pm my thought is to still use DME but NOT use the luggage tags and get our bags as we likely wouldn't get our bags until 11pm+ or next day which would impact DW's ability to get ready (she brings half of CVS with her).

Is it allowed to do this? I'm fine (and do) tip for bags but don't want to deal with worrying about our luggage getting to the resort.

That's fine to do. Just don't use the yellow DME tags for your checked bags, and then head to baggage claim before heading down to DME. Your bags will just be stowed underneath your bus.
That is exactly what I would do if arriving at 9pm.
