DME - is 2 weeks lead time enough

I am staying at GF for a conference beginning on 2/1. I cannot book DME without a confirmation # from the GF, but the conference people will not have the info until mid-January. Is two weeks enough time to get my DME tags and vouchers ?

That should be enough time, however, if you do not receive the package, just make sure that all of your luggage has name tags on them. On your arrival at the airport, proceed to the Magical Express desk located on the lower level of terminal B. Disney will ask you for your airline baggage claim checks and a description of your bags and so that they can pull them for you and deliver them to your resort.

They will issue a bording voucher at the counter.

You can call the day before (and possibly the day of) your travel as long as you do it before your scheduled arrival. Sure, you won't have luggage tags, but it won't effect your ability to use me for transportation.

Try calling now, DME uses flight info. You say your staying at the GF and that should be enough for DME.

DME is a function of resort reservations. If they can't confirm your resort reservation, then they can't give you a DME reservation.
