DME- Expeda Hotel Reservation

If I book a Disney hotel through Expedia, do I use the Expeda Itin# to book DME? Expedia itinerary does not show hotel reservation numbers.

If I recall correctly, at some point in time, maybe a month or two weeks before our stay, Expedia sent us an email confirmation with the Disney reservation number and noted to register for DME.

When registering with DME, they ask for your Disney resort reservation number. Do you remember if you used your Expedia itinerary number, or did Expedia give you your Disney reservation number?

As stated in their reply, they sent a Disney reservation number, which is the number you must use. The Expedia itinerary will not work.
