DME Documents

I booked my flights, All Star Movies and DME yesterday. It was exactly 21 days from arrival at WDW.

I am assuming I should have enough time to get my DME documents in the mail. Am I correct?

Also, will I get my magic bands and package details in the mail as well?

With this and your other threads, you really are planning a last minute trip!!

I think DME will be doable to get before you leave. Possibly your Magic Bands.

Keep in mind if you don't receive the MDE booklet, as long as you are in the DME system you can just stop at the DME desk when you get to MCO and they will check you in.

If you have magic bands but no MDE paperwork you should be ok because everything is connected to the band. They just scan it and put you on the bus.

If you don't have the yellow luggage tags, you will need to pick up your own luggage and take it to the bus with you.

If you don't receive your magic bands before your trip, they will provide you will bands when you check in. However, they will all be grey. I would recommend bringing a sharpie if that happens so you can write names on the bands to keep them straight.

Just to clarify a couple things -

If you don't have the yellow DME tags, arrive prior to 10pm and want to use the luggage delivery feature you can give your airline luggage claim tags to the folks at DME when you check in. DME will then retrieve them for you and deliver them to your room.

If you don't get your Magic Bands in the mail prior to the trip but you have customized them you will receive the Customized bands at check in. Otherwise they will be the grey bands but you can also opt to purchase other bands and link them to your tickets and room.

Did you book DME online? If not, I would put it through online anyway. Every time we have booked DME online, we have always gotten our docs in the mail within a week. We've had our docs for our trip next week since June!

I booked my room several weeks ago through Orbitz, but just added Magical Express tonight by booking online. I got a confirmation e-mail, but it's just repeating back my info, no confirmation number.

My trip isn't until mid-January, I just wondered if it sounded like I was on track.

Does Magical Express ever show up on the MyDisneyExperience site?

Does not show up on Dis Experience. You should get something in the mail shortly. Even if you don't the email should suffice but you can always call them just to be sure.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I can't find any rhyme or reason to it. I have seen DME listed on MDE. But a few days later, it was gone! Go figure.
