DME booklets and tags already? 6 months out...

I received my Disney Magical Express booklet and tags in the mail today-- our trip isn't until September. When did they start sending these out so far before a trip. Seems like last time is was about a month out. Maybe a mistake??

They sent ours (for our January trip) months in advance, too. They seem to be doing it sometimes.

our trip is April 27 and don't have ours yet but we never got them that early, maybe a month out.

The system might send out the Magical Express packet early so it (the system) doesn't have to worry about it any more.

Going to Disney, the package materials, no matter how old, are bona fide. (If you need or want to change the date, you need to proactively do so.)

For going home, you should proactively set up your return DME reservation after you get there.

I booked my May trip on Thanksgiving weekend, provided them with the flight info then, and still haven't received my packet. I wasn't worrying about it because I'm used to not getting it until about 3-4 weeks before our trip.

We signed up for DME, no packets yet (June trip). Our flight to Orlando was pushed back 50 minutes but the flight number is the same. Do I need to call?

Nope. No need to call. You will just get on the next available bus to your resort when you arrive. You would need to call if your return flight changed.

I received my packet less than a week after I gave them my info, our trip is mid-August

We're going mid August and just received ours on Saturday...first time we've ever gotten ours so early as well

Have a trip in June....nothing yet. I'm used to getting my packet a month out, so I'm not concerned. But, I have received it several months prior to departure, on occasion.
