DME and luggage delivery (first time at the Fort!)

We will be staying at the Fort for the first time the last week of March, staying in a rental. We typically use the luggage service that is included in DME, but I am wondering if it works the same way at the Fort? Do they still deliver your luggage to your site, just like it would be to your room at a resort, since it is an actual camper rather than resort room? Do you have to be at your site when they deliver? Thanks in advance for any help! We are very excited to experience the Disney magic while camping!

Our grown children flew in and we took the camper down. They bring the luggage directly to your site and we happened to have been there when they brought it. If I remember correctly, I believe they called us before they brought the luggage.....

1) DME luggage works the same for The Fort as it does for other resorts.
2) The only caveat is to take you luggage on the bus (with you) if you arrive at the Orlando Airport after 9:00pm.
3) If you do not, it could be 10:00am the next day before you see the checked luggage.

NOTE: Disney already advises people to carry their own luggage if arriving after 10:00pm, but I recommend 9:00pm.
