DME and 5am Arrival?

I'm looking at flights coming over from the west coast the one I'm currently looking at has an arrival time of 5 AM love those red-eyes, we were wanting to do DME like normal and I'm wondering what is the earliest time that they will utilize picking up of our luggage? Mum will be in a chair and I don't want to have to muck about with luggage at 2am to us er I mean 5am too! And I am greedy and want a full day on our arrival day...planning on budgeting 3 espressos that day!

If I use Disney’s Magical Express and I check my luggage, when will it be delivered to my hotel room?

If you arrive between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM, be aware that it can take up to 3 hours after you arrive at select Disney Resort hotels for your luggage to be delivered. Please pack a carry-on bag with your valuables, medications and anything you’ll need immediately upon your arrival. You do not need to be in your room to receive your luggage.

I always take a carry on, in case my luggage doesn't make it on my flight. I pack what I will need for 24/48 hrs, including bathing suit & flip flops. At check in, bell service will keep your carry ons untill you need them.

I live on the west coast too, and tried the Alaska red eye out of SeaTac once. I only got an hour sleep and was exhausted on arrival. Now I get the flight that lands at 5:30pm!!

We take the red eye on AK out of SeaTac. Definitely budget for the extra caffeine that day. I start right with Starbucks at the airport when getting off the plane!

We've never had a problem with DME/ luggage delivery. Just bring in your carry on what you need for the day (we always pack a change of clothes so we don't have to wear all day what we flew in) and swimming gear. We check in, have breakfast at POFQ and change, go to Epcot and usually our room is ready around noon or 1. We might nap for a bit but try not to. Sometimes we go to DTD for dinner and then try to get to bed early-gets our body clocks reset for a great week of vacation!

Our luggage usually arrives by 4, 3 hours after room is ready, typically.

We're going again in August and got the direct SeaTac to Florida again. It has become our fav. Leaves Sea around 8:00am
We fly into FLL first to visit family, then drive up to WDW and take the 6:55pm direct flight back home. Milking as much Wdw time as I can. Lol
