Has anyone used Magical Express after staying at the Hyatt in MCO? How did you arrange this? Did you really use fake flight information or can you call DME ahead of time and explain what you are doing? Will they be able to set it up for you? We are considering staying at the Hyatt since our arrival time is 11 pm. but would like to use DME to get to BWV the next day. I realize that we will have to take care of our own luggage. Thanks for the info!

Every guest staying at a Disney-operated WDW resort is allowed to use the DME service from MCO to their WDW resort on their check-in day. It doesn't matter how they arrive at the DME check-in counter at the airport.

See the recent thread, DME with an airport hotel stay?

You do not need to provide fake flight information. You can simply tell DME Guest Services (1-866-599-0951) the approximate time you expect to use DME from the airport to your resort.

However, if you make your DME reservations online, you may need to provide fake flight information, because that's what the online interface expects (at least the DME interface for DVC members does). That doesn't mean you're cheating, just that you're working around limitations in the computer system.

I've never used DME after staying at the MCO Hyatt, but I've used it after returning a rental car that we had used to visit family for 5 days prior to our WDW vacation.
