DLR tomorrow wootalicous! - need some help -

Okay so the DLR trip is tomorrow finally!!!! Too bad we have to leave before the fireworks get started - boo school -

ok so anyway i got a couple of questions since i dont remember disneyland

how much money do i need to take if i'm gonna buy one souviner and a hat and lunch and a snack?

what rides should i go on(i'm afraid of heights)?

can i get the animators desk at DLR if so where?

Well, lets see nano...

Money wise, if you are looking into a hat .. $15-20 (depending on hat)

Souvenirs range, so it really depends on if you're looking for just a pen/stickers/pins/keychains or for bigger items like stuffed animals/sweatshirts/jacket

Full lunch means with drink can be 8-12 dollars, possibly more depending on your tastes

Snacks - from dole whips/ice cream/churros/soft frozen lemonade 3.50+ per item

Don't miss rides:
DL: Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Indy, Big Thunder MR, Haunted Mansion, Mr. Toad's Wild ride (only at DLR, my favorite), Peter Pan

DCA: California Screaming, ToT, Alladin show

Animators desk was just announced today. Hopefully it is out. If it is, it sounds like it would be in the Animation Building at DCA (Drawing characters room) in the Hollywood Backlot going towards ToT.

No nano don't go who am i going to talk to tomorrow oh yea time difference well have fun i could not answer any of your questions bc i have never been to DL OR DCA sorry but have a good trip it is a shame you have to miss the frieworks that is what i liked best at WDW

I dont like heights either! Dont go on matterhorn or thunder mountain - they are high roller coasters.

Don't miss Indiana Jones, Pirates (duh), Haunted Mansion, Star Tours (you don't actually go up in the air, but it does "look like" you are up high).

In Calif adventure - go on Buzz Lightyear - California Soarin is good but it looks like you are really up high - you are actually not up high. It is very smooth and pretty fun even for me. Monsters Inc is cute. Then just what you see and like!

FYI, Pirates is closed until June 26th. It is my favorite though.

If you are going to VMK to do the quests, they will give you fast passes to two rides...Indy Jones, Space Mtn, Buzz Lightyr, Autopia, or Roger Rabbit. So be sure to do that.

how exciting you are going to disneyland tomorrow.

for disneyland:
definitely do space mountain, indiana jones, matterhorn, big thunder mountain and buzz lightyear astro blasters ( i can give you some tips to get a really good score )

for DCA:
tower of terror is a must and so is soaring over california, california screaming, if the wait is not long go on monsters if you haven't yeat. if the wait is more than half an hour for that ride it won't be worth it. and watch aladdin if you have time.

bring $20 for food and $20 for a souvenior and ps. parking will be $10.

and to get the new animators desk yeah it's at california adventure in the animation studios it will be in the hollywood backlot on the right side.

that's a bummer that you have to leave before the fireworks because i would say you should definitely stick around and catch it if you haven't seen it because it is AMAZING.

Thunder Mountain really isn't that high. I personally don't like roller coasters because of the drops or heights but will go on this one. And I think you may have California Screamin' (rollercoaster with loop) with Soarin' over California (hang gliding simulator) which is really cool. If you do go on that and are really afraid of heights just ask if you can be in the bottom row and you are barely off the ground but still get the effects

DLR is Disneyland Resort. This refers to the entire Disney area in Anaheim, including Disneyland Park, California Adventure, Downtown Disney, etc...

Disneyland Park - one amusement park, the orignal

California Adventure - one amusement park, built less than 5 years ago
(this is where the animation building is)

So - if you are only going to Disneyland PARK, no, you cannot get it. If you are going to both parks, yes, you can get it. I cannot answer your question because DLR is not a park.
