DLR on Father's Day...How crowded?

Unfortunately, the only day I'll have for a full day at DLR will be on Father's day.

Anyone have an idea of just how busy it will be that day? Do you think it'll make any difference that I'm planning on taking the Welcome to Disneyland tour?

We were there Father's Day last yearand will be there again this year. It will be very crowded, but not unbearable. Getting there early, at opening, maximizing fastpass and going with an open mind should make for a great day! Can't answer any questions about the tour. If you want to eat any full service meals, Blue Bayou in particular, make your priority seatings as far in advance as you can, lots of people will want to be treating their dad to a nice meal!

I've been planning our trip for over a year and just realized (after reading your post) that we'll also be there over Fathers Day We'll be staying at the BWPPI too Amy&Dan

And I just realized that I was wrong, we won't be at DL yet on Father's Day, we'll still be in San Diego, not arriving to DL until that Tuesday! But I was there last year and had a great day, crowds and all! Maybe we'll see each other at the BWPPI!

Thanks, Amy&Dan. I'm definitely planning on trying Blue Bayou even if I have to wait for the last seating.

I have been there 2 times on Father's Day (took my Dad, wasn't that nice of me!!!) and it was very busy both times!! Definitely make some plans and PS's!!!
