I need some help from those who enjoy visiting Mickey on the left coast.

I'm in the process of adding Disneyland Resort dining to my tracking software. Having never been there, though, I don't know anything about DLR. I have 2 questions -- to be followed by more, I'm sure.

First, does DLR dining use the same 90 day policy for their priority seating that WDW uses for ADRs? If not, what are the advanced booking rules at DLR?

Second, WDW resorts are grouped by the attraction to which they're closest. For example, CR, Poly, GF, and WL are all "Magic Kingdom Resorts." BC, YC, BW, Swan, and Dolphin are all "Epcot Resorts." My software allows you to search for restaurants based on this concept of the "area" of WDW. For example, if you search for restaurants in the Magic Kingdom area, it will show you restaurants in Magic Kingdom Park as well as those in the nearby resorts listed above.

Is DLR set up the same way? (I'm thinking it's probably small enough that it isn't.) I'm not sure how to force this smaller model into the existing search form. If you search for restaurants in the Disneyland Park area, which resorts would it include? How about the DCA area? Which resorts there? Or, does this not apply and I should just disable this search criteria for California?

Thanks!

DLR has only two parks, three Disney hotels and Downtown Disney, and all are located within walking distance of each other. There is no "resort grouping" such as there is at WDW. The only demarcation lines are: restaurants within each theme park, restaurants in each resort, restaurants in Downtown Disney.

60 days ahead on dining. I was just researching this.
allears.net has menus also

I would group as:

Disneyland restaurants
California Adventure restaurants
Downtown Disney Restaurants
Hotel Restaurants:

Grand Californian: Napa Rose
Storyteller's
Whitewater Snacks
Hearthstone Lounge

Disneyland Hotel: Steakhouse 55
Goofy's Kitchen
Hook's Pointe
Croc's Bits and Bites
(bakery place--don't know name)

Paradise Pier Hotel: restaurant
bar/counter place

Dave: I'd be happy to help with any other questions you may have. I live 15 min. from DLR and am there frequently along with many others on the boards. You may also want to post questions on the Disneyland board.
