DLP Vs WDW - Our opinion

I was interested to read your comments and agree with a lot of them. As someone else said it is like comparing apples and pears.
For most of us the flights to the US is a cost that can't be done too often. My DH and DS nearly died last summer in the heat. Nothing would make DS go out after 1pm till about 5.30pm. This meant going back to the condo for Dh and usually DD too each day. They all found Disney too much. This may have been my fault as I was happy to play alll day everyday. They got some breaks when friends came down and took me playing for a few days then I did the pin event. They are all happy to go back to DLP with me as they like France but no one wants to back to WDW with me.
As a family holiday it will only be DLP for us.

Just wanted to add that, if you'd seen last year's Wishes at DLP I don't think you'd be saying that.

Really! That does surprise me, if only because I was under the impression that there is a height and noise restriction placed on DLP fireworks.

With Wishes at WDW it wasn't only the music, the projections and tinkerbell on a wire we admired, it was the scale of the fireworks that left us breathless.

we have beent o DLRP 3 times now

with many more planned over next 12 months

hubby is now saying we should do WDW ! ( i have been once when i was about 13 lol am 29 now)

but i dont want to go !

there's so much more we havent seen / done @ DLRP yet !
and i like the fact it's not too hot ( we would have to do WDW in the summer holidays !)
not too far to travel
don't need 2/3 weeks to see / do everything!

we prob will go ,in a few yrs or so .I just hope we dont get the WDW bug, as we have the DLRP one

would need a lot more money / days off work
