In researching the hotels it mentions a booklet of VIP express passes is an amenity given to those staying at the DLP hotel and in a suite at some of the other hotels.

Is anyone familiar with this? Do you only get one booklet for length of stay or is it like the FOTL system for resort guest at Universal Orlando on site hotel guests?

If you stay in the DLH castle club or a hotel suite you get a VIP fastpass. This is one per person for the length of your stay. You keep the fastpass and can use it as many times as you like except (I think) the two hours before the park closes. If you stay in a standard room in DLH I think you only get one hotel fastpass per person per day which can be used just the once.

Not wanting to sound dense or anything.....but when you say the fastpass that other DH guests get (not the VIP) can only be used once, do you mean on only one ride per day?

Yes that is right :thumbsup2

Remember you can still use your park passport; as with other guests, to obtain a fastpass for other attractions at other times. Subject to you not holding more than 1 at a time :)

can you please clarify with the vip fast pass can you just show this and go on the rides that have fast pass or do you insert your vip fast pass and get a time to come back if so with it being vip can you get more than 1 fast pass at a time?:confused3

With VIP FP you just show it at the FP entrance whenever you want. We were given one last yr as a gift from Disney when there was a problem with our booking/payment. We couldnt use it until after 11 and not for last hour of park opening but apart from that you just used it when you wanted so no planning or getting timeslots was needed.
