DLP Shares - Certificates?

I've read many discussions on the merits of buying shares in DLP and definately want to go ahead (wish we'd known about it years ago).

But, I want to buy the shares and hold the certificate myself - has anyone in the UK managed to do this?

All of the brokers I've tried will only trade in these shares with a "nominee" account i.e. they hold the shares. They say that this is because they are traded on the Paris market.

Can anyone suggest a broker who deals on foreign markets and issues share certificates?

Hi Adrian, I'm no expert but I believe you'll have to go through a French stockbrocker in order to buy shares in this way although even like this you don't get a certificate anymore, just a statement of your holding.

CACEIS used to look after Euro Disney SCA shares but last summer it changed to BNP Paribas Securities Services. There's more information on the Euro Disney SCA website here so it might be worth you contacting them although I think it will cost a lot more to buy them this way rather than through someone like Halifax.
