How many table service/buffet restaurants are there and a bonus question how many counter service restaurants are there in Disneyland Resort Paris?

The Val d'Europe hotels and shopping centre have been excluded from the calculation. Only Disney count :)

From ex teacher I'll take that as a compliment, although I doubt I would have the patience.

Quick note to say I'll be a bit later closing the question tonight as I've an evening meeting.

Well it's as clear as mud now - glad I asked ;)

Complete guesswork BTW :earsgirl:

Lots of answers for this one. 29 table/buffet restaurants 23 counter service restaurants

If you got with 26 - 32 and 20 - 26 you got a point for each. Given that Agrabah is more often than not shut.

Thought I'd better list them :)

Hmm,

for me a counter service restaurant is a place where I can get a whole meal and can sit down, so I didnt count places like Captn Hooks Galley as that are places where I can get snacks and drinks but it is not a restaurant.
Okay maybe the meaning of restaurant is different at UK :cool1:

The same with Buffalo Bill that IMHO a show and not a restaurant as I cannot go there for only something to eat. Then you had to add the other dinner shows like Tinkerbell as well.

Hmmmm - sorry Reid, and at the risk of being a sore loser, I think some of those are very iffy eg: Rendez-vous des Stars and la Cantina were definitely counter service when we were last there. However, the question master's decision is final - as I shall no doubt be repeating at some stage in December!!! ;)

Sorry Reid but I have to agree! Chuck Wagon, La Cantina & Rendez-vous des Stars are definitely all counter service, plus I thought of several more that I can't see in your list - Captain Hook's Galley, March Hare Refreshments, The Old Mill, Sports Bar off the top of my head, which would make quite a difference to the totals!

I'm pretty sure I'm out of contention for a prize so it won't make any difference to me but will probably make a difference to some - so sorry Reid but this one's a bit contentious!

Don't want to sound like I am having a go Reid:flower3:but the park map definitely lists WDS as having only self-service restaurants. I understood that was one of many people's gripes with WDS, the fact that there is not a nice table-service restaurant there.

Lot's of comments and I'm only just in from work
I'm back out to PTA (as parent chair not teacher Di :) ) in 30 minutes so will look at these later.
I'm quite prepared to look at sources of information and give re-consideration.

Hi,

I try to figure out the differences ;-)

Table service restaurant: Place where you order food that will be served by a waiter at your table.

Buffet restaurant: Place where you walk along the presented food and choose by yourself

Counter service restaurant place where you queue up at a counter, get your food there and take it to your table

Everything else is not a restaurant for me :confused3
