We're thinking of bringing our trip forward this year from November to probably May but the website only has details up to the beginning of April.

What I'd like to know, from anyone who may know is what the Park Opening times are and also any idea of what shows are likely to be on? I know The Lion King will still be running but any others?

I emailed DLP via the website and received a really prompt reply but it said "There's always something going on at Disneyland Resort Paris"! and that the website will be updated soon. Not much help really!

Opening times will be 10-8 weekdays and 9-8 weekends. The summer opening hours don't kick in until the 3rd week or so in July as we found out this year and had to move our holiday one week later.

Tarzan: The Encounter will be on and I'd bet something will be going on in the Fantasy Festival Show.

You'll also be one of the first people to go on Buzz Lightyears's Astro Blasters

Thanks Steve,

Is Buzz Lightyear opening in May? It rings a bell with me that it is actually. That might put me off going in May as the resort will probably be mobbed.

Also, I heard somewhere that there is to be a Winnie the Pooh all year round show starting in the Fantasy Theatre although I've yet to see this confirmed anywhere. Could have just been a rumour.

This could well be our last trip for a while as Emily starts school next year and if they authorise absence for Amber this year that will be the only time they'll do it as she's in reception, so I want to get the timing right and go when they parks aren't too busy. Sorry I'm rambling so I'm off now to watch Celebrity Big Brother!

Buzz lightyear Lazer Blasy will be opened the 8th of April.
;)

Joanne the shareholder's mag says April 2006 :)

We've been in late May & early June usually great weather.

During the week you probably won't see any fireworks

Joanne, IMHO you have chosen the best time (apart from Christmas) to go to DLP. The weather is lovely and the parks are literally empty. We have been twice in May and once first week of June but we definately preferred May. What hotel are you planning on staying at?

We're going to get the ferry over this time, it's so much cheaper than the Eurostar so we'll stay at the Davy Crockett Ranch. With the money we save on transport we plan on staying an extra night. It's the first time we've had to pay for Emily and she's bumped up the costs considerably!

Nice to see someone else giving DCR a go. Going to be lots of interest in a DCR faq ;)

That's brilliant! :goodvibes

DCR sounds and looks a fantastic place. If only they did a shuttle from there. :(
