DLP in July

I was just wondering how the crowd levels are at DLP in early-mid July? My DD's birthday is July 12th and I had a brainwave last night that maybe I could plan a trip there for her 8th birthday instead of doing her a birthday party (which I always find way too stressful no matter what we decide to do for it ). I was thinking that maybe Tues 10th-Fri 13th July might be nice - hopefully they'll have the Summer fireworks and illuminated parade. I know it's going to be busier than it was in March when we went this year due to some countries having broken up for Summer, but would it be awful? I'd definitely try to avoid Bastille Day which is Sat July 14th in 2012.

I should point out that I'm thinking NEXT year, brought on by the worry of trying to organise her 7th birthday for THIS year

Yeah i would deffiently try and avoid Bastille day we were there for this back in 2006 and it was very busy. We are off this year 4th-7th July I will be doing a TR when I get back so I can let you know how it was.

Thanks, will look out for the TRs I hope you have a fantastic time! Price wise have you found July any more expensive than other times of year? Hard to tell as the website only goes up to June 2012 and as we're almost in July now I can't tell if the prices have been hiked up a bit for last minute bookers..

We're going the 14th-21st July this year, We managed to get the 45% off offer so it worked out @ 1248.00 for 8 days 7 nights in the Cheyenne for 2 adults and 2 kids but we only paid for DS as he's nearly 8 and got DD free as is under 7

We know July will be much busier than when we went last in Sept 09 BUT imo the weather (fingers crossed!), fireworks and late opening make up for that

Only 3 weeks to go!!!
