DLP for 2.5 yr old??

Just got the unexpected news that DW will be attending a conference at DLP in May - so I sense an opportunity. However, as I have not been to DLP since 1996 and it has changed a lot since then, I am struggling to remember how suitable it would be for 2.5yr old DS.

We are going to WDW next month so it is not as if we need a Disney fix, but as I would only have to pay for transportation for me and DS it seems like too good an opportunity to miss - on the other hand, there is no point going if there will be little to keep DS entertained.

Also, the dates overlap with UK school half term - does this have a dramatic impact on the park attendance?

Any thoughts????

We went last August with our 8 and 2 yr old (well nearly 2). She had a great time. There is lots to do and some really nice rides for her age. The studios were a bit more of a problem as a lot of the shows were loud and she didn't like them. You should have lots to do even without the studios.

Agree with DisneyBB. We first took our son to DLRParis when he was almost 2 and he had a wonderful time. There are lots of attractions for younger children and of course the parades and shows which are even more special for younger children, along with meeting the characters.

There isn't a lot at Disney Studios for younger children, except for Alladin's carpets and a few shows - Animagique especially.

We've been with children aged 2 1/2 (and younger) with no problems. As previuosly said, teh Studios doesn't offer much for little 'uns but mine enjoyed Aladdin's Carpets, The BacklotTram Tour & seeing the parade and cahracters. Take a good buggy for him to sleep in as the rental ones are not very comfortable.
