Hi everyone, need some help deciding on food places for our up coming trip!!! We are staying in the HI for 2 nights, arriving Mon lunchtime and leaving Wed evening. On Monday, I am hoping to go skating and do some shopping before haveing food in the village - was thinking of maybe Annette's or PH - any thoughts?
Tues, we are heading into Paris, so will just be grabbing food en route back to hotel, depending on the time, we may either go to rainforest cafe or which ever place we didn't go on Monday.
Wed we will hopefully head into the park, not sure if I want to do a proper meal in the park as we will only have a few hours there!
Any thoughts on where might be good to head to - and any ideas if we would need to book these type of places for the end of Nov? Would love to try Cafe Mickeys but not sure I will get DBF to go for it! Lol :confused3

I have to say I love Annette's, we've always had great food everytime we've visited, they have a takeaway section too although we've not tried that. I'm sure you'll get lots more ideas

I would definitely advise against Annette's takeaway. We loved it in the restaurant when we went but didn't have time to queue this trip so opted for the takeaway and it was extremely average - might as well have gone to McDonalds. It's nothing like the food inside...

Agrabah Cafe is my new favourite - have never eaten a meal like that in my life, it was *fantastic*.

Unfortunately, you can't book either Annettes, Rainforest Cafe, or Planet Hollywood in advance.

Out of those 3, my favourite is Annettes :goodvibes

Maybe by mentioning that you can book Cafe Mickey in advance might swing it to DBF?

I really wouldn't recommend Planet Hollywood.... When we went the food was stale and really over priced.... You're also forced to sit closer to strangers than you would with your own family!! Never again.

Love Annettes and the Rainforest Cafe though. If you wanted to go to Cafe Mickey, do what I did to my Fiancee- Don't tell him there's characters! His face when he saw the first character was a treat!!

hi i would recommend the main street deli.
wonderful toasted sandwitches , the mushrooms the best.
and the cowboy cookout next to big thundermoutain, the spare ribs and chicken are wonderful.

i would recommend annettes i ate there twice on my visit. the burgers are lovely and my mom had the fish and i was so jealous *** it was gorgous. i also rate cafe mickey i had the best steak ever here and the pizzas were great also. in my group our meals ranged from 10 euro (shared pizza *** they are big) to 35 for the three course meal which was lovely

Thanks guys for all your help! Annette's sounds like a def then, and maybe Rainforest on the second night - unless I can wrangle Cafe Mickeys somehow :goodvibes not sure he will go for it tho! Lol!!! In a way maybe its good u can't book, we can see what we fancy on the night then. Still not sure what 2 do when we are in the park - nice sit down lunch or quick burger on the go! Decisions decisions :lmao:

sounds a perfect plan, avoid PH. Heard a lot more bad things than good about it.

You'll enjoy yourself at the others guaranteed

PH is nice but I found that it was overpriced for what you get... How about trying one of the restaurants in one of the onsite Hotels? Or one of the other restaurants in Disney Village?

Also it is known that you can't book reservations for Rainforest cafe on the telephone line, but it might be worth popping by on your way into the park and checking if you can book a reservation directly with them.

I don't think you can make reservations directly with them either.... We saw a family asking and they were told no....

Main Street Deli rules and is my new favorate place to eat in the Parks. Annettes is amazing and we have never, ever had a problem in there even with the Wife who isn't a great fan of how burgers are cooked on the continent

Lol, I know what you mean, my boyfriend goes mad at me disecting my meat before I eat it! :lmao:

I guess HI means Holiday Inn, the restaurant there in the evening is really good. All you can eat buffet, children under 12 I think are free. that includes drinks too.
