Hi guys,
yet more questions! We're heading to DLP in Oct half term as DD aged 10 is dancing with her tap troupe there. There are 16 of our family and friends going and we are at the pricing/booking stage.
I booked all our flights with BMI Baby from Teesside last weekend at a cost of £112 each - this had gone up from £80 ish when I first started looking.
At dancing last night the teacher who is organising the room bookings gave me a shock by saying it would be around £340 per adult and £80 per child!! Is this right??? Been into town today and picked up a couple of brochures and it looks about right - is it because its half term?
This is making our price for 2 adults and 2 children in the region of £1200 for 4 nights - that could be going towards our next WDW holiday!!! I know its a once in a lifetime opportunity for DD to dance there, and to be honest if she wasn't dancing I don't think we would consider paying this kind of money for DLP, the rest of our party are going to get a shock, they were banking on paying around £350 per room for the length of stay!!
While I'm on I may as well ask if there are any good websites out there, I found some invaluable in preparation for our WDW trip last year - such as ride info, eating places with menu's and costs, queue info, etc. I'm waiting for Simon's book to come out as I know that will have loads of info!
Cheers guys, sorry it's so long!
