You all probably know I'm a die hard VGC fan..but, would this scenario work? Points to stay at DLH for 1 room for 2 weekday nights and one weekend, 81; to stay 3 weekday nights, 69.
Same season, VGC, 2 studios, 2 weekday nights and one weekend, 114; 3 weekday, 90.
We travel quite a bit with my DD and her two kids, so that makes party of five, which cannot be in one studio, which is why we'd need 2. Does the DLH allow 5 in a room? We have stayed in a regular DGV room with 5, so wonder if this is the standard for hotel rooms.
We have 175 points, but with three kids and 8 grandkids we may need to be creative to stretch it at times.
This would give us a savings of 33 points for 2 weekday and 1 weekend night and a savings of 21 points for 3 weekday nights.
(1 BR which does fit five would run 105 for 2 weekday nights and 1 weekend or 84 for three weekday nights, still a savings of 24 or 15, which may be a happier medium...this is all lowest season and if DD gets a job with school year requirements we will have to refocus:scared1:)

I believe that 5 is standard unless there is a child under 2 as well that will sleep in a crib/playpen.

Yes, five can go in one standard room. The rooms have two queens and a pull-out (at least in the refurbished rooms). The pull-out is really just a twin-sized bed that the couch converts to. Anyway, five can easily fit in all the beds.
