DLH In-Room Safe

So... How big is it? Wondering how much (or how little) I can stuff in it!!

It's been a while since we were last there, but from what I rembember it was big enough for the essentials - passports, money etc. I do remember not being able to fit in my holiday folder - which is an A4 multipocket thing. (Now realising I am betraying my obsessive organising when it comes to holidays )

It's a standard hotel room safe, so it'll fit your money, passports, small camera etc but not much else.

It is just a regular room sizes safe, big enough for passports, money, paperwork etc. The DLH do have a safe room downstairs though to store larger items in. When we went with my parents we both had laptops which we stored in the safe room, in there they have large lockers to put things in. One day the large lockers were full so they put our items in the managers safe. Only one person is allowed to enter the safe room at a time and the actual safes are behind a glass screen which the CM just has access to.

The room (Junior suite) we had at New Years had two safes - a standard sized passport, wallet safe and then a second, larger safe in which I was able to store my laptop. The room was located in the wing that the spa is located in (west or east, I can't quite remember) and as such was a long way away from reception so perhaps that is why they had the second safe.

I print everything out and put it in a folder and the pieces of paper in the order that we'll need to refer to them. I also have a summary sheet showing park hours, any reservations we have and all confirmations for flights, etc. So...I respect the obsession.

Glad to be in good company! Gone are the days when the holiday stuff was lucky to get cast in the same drawer pre trip - now we are spreadsheeted and colour coded! Only somewhere to put all the excitement before we go though.

So we are - I think you arrive a couple of days before us. The "pink palace" is great, we're so looking forward to going back! Lovely to see the counter go below the month to go mark now. DD still has no idea - but we'll probably give her a weeks warning.
