DLH Account credit

I booked a night at the DLH and saw the price was cheaper a few days later for the same room category. I changed my reservation and the email confirmation say that my credit will be in the form of a credit to my hotel account. I assume I can use toward parking, food, etc? How would I use this or let a cashier know that that is my intention?
